International week. Day 3.

This is The International Week. Day 3.

There will be a short text here every day. Do follow me for finding a language defending very basic ideological and intellectual groundwork for internationalism!

***

At the United Nations vote earlier this week, Russia and Belarus and Nicaragua and a few more voted against a resolution condemning Russian aggression and supporting peace in Ukraine. So did the United States.

They lost – to Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia and most other nations in the world.

The winning nations can only continue to win through cooperation. Through intense and serious diplomatic work, where serious men and women make serious decisions in a sustainable and respectful manner.

That is also true for the new allies Russia and The United States, which is the best case for internationalism you will see to day: Even nations captured by blind and reckless nationalistic ideas are doomed without international cooperation. And they know it.

Let’s not flinch.
